Nike Not Apple Takes The Lead in Wearables

Much has been written here and elsewhere on the future of wearable devices. From Samsung’s initial Galaxy Gear smartwatch to Glass from Google and other devices from Pebble , Fitbit , MetaWatch , Jawbone and others, there are more than a few companies looking to crack the code on this up and coming connected device product category. Whether it connects with iOS, Android or Microsoft’s Windows Mobile, with a smartphone, tablet, PC or notebook computer, these devices look have the potential to improve the user experience not just with the Bluetooth connected smartphone or tablet and its apps, but with collected user data associated with exercise, sleep and other activities.
